Entiv Organic Energy aims to
efficiently utilize the earth's
natural energy - sustainably - through
the use of cutting-edge technology.
Our drilling operations are led by a seasoned team of geothermal experts. As a member of Entiv, Western Water Development Corporation (WWDC) brings the depth of knowledge and experience needed to handle the challenges associated with geothermal exploration and drilling.
Founded in central Oregon in 1991, WWDC began as a small residential and agricultural driller focused on quality and customer service. WWDC soon began offering drilling services to municipal customers, and during the mid-90s WWDC expanded to include industrial markets and the geothermal market.
Through the years, WWDC has seen dramatic changes in the drilling market. With the world's heightened interest in the alternative energy market, and as alternative energy becomes cost effective, WWDC is poised and equipped to be the smart choice for Earth-friendly geothermal drilling. With several Geothermal Drilling projects in its portfolio WWDC has demonstrated competence in completing successful projects that will result in the production of Geothermal Energy for power and direct use heating. Significantly elevating the potential power base in the Pacific Northwest.
With our nation's continuing determination to utilize our natural resources effectively, as well as the increased demand for green energy, WWDC believes that the geothermal drilling industry will experience growth for many years.
Geothermal Exploration and Drilling
WWDC provides geothermal drilling services for the exploration of geothermal resources, production wells and injection wells.
Exploration wells are drilled to determine resource quantity in a designated location, while also verifying the characteristics of the geothermal reservoir and assessing its potential.
Production wells are drilled for the purpose of releasing the steam and/or hot water contained within. The steam and/or water is then directed to a facility which converts the resource to electricity for on-site use or to sell on the open market.
Injection wells are drilled and then used to inject the fluids created during the generation process (from the production well) back into the reservoir to be reused.
With our nation's continuing determination to utilize our natural resources effectively, as well as the increased demand for green energy, WWDC believes that the geothermal drilling industry will experience growth for many years.
